High School Mathematics Teacher

As a High School Mathematics Teacher at Narayana Etechno School, you will play a crucial role in educating and inspiring students in Grades 9-12 following the CBSE curriculum. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics in alignment with the CBSE syllabus. You will design and implement well-structured lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students. Utilizing innovative teaching methods, technology integration, and real-life applications of Mathematics will be key to fostering student learning and interest in the subject. Assessment and evaluation are integral parts of your role. You will prepare and assess assignments, tests, and exams according to CBSE guidelines. Providing timely feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes and keeping accurate records of student progress will be essential for student development. Effective classroom management and student engagement are essential components of this role. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, managing student behavior, and motivating students to develop critical thinking skills are crucial for student success. Continuous professional development is encouraged in this role. Staying updated with CBSE syllabus changes, teaching methodologies, and best practices, as well as participating in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions, will contribute to your growth as an educator. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student success is also a key aspect of this position. Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular Mathematics activities such as Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions, as well as organizing and mentoring students in math clubs, will enrich the overall learning experience. To excel in this role, you should hold a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. Prior experience in teaching Mathematics at the high school level, preferably within the CBSE board, is advantageous. Strong command over mathematical concepts, problem-solving strategies, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using technology for teaching are also desired qualities.
