Position Title: General Manager Department: Sales / Marketing Key Result Areas : Receipt of Orders / Project Closure / Co-ordination Billing Revenue recognition / Collections Customer Registrations / Quotes Vendor Registrations / New customer bank Purpose of the Position : He will be responsible for achieving the sales targets set out in the Annual Business Plan, with a specific focus on the North and West regions. In this role, his focus will be on building a strong brand image and expanding the company's footprint in these regions through effective marketing practices. He will work on identifying new markets and customer opportunities, staying connected with existing clients through regular follow-ups and loyalty programs, and engaging with prospective customers. All these efforts will be directed towards successfully meeting the defined Key Result Areas (KRAs). Job Description : Focused sales efforts to achieve respective sales numbers as suggested/guided by the CEO / President Serve existing customers, obtain orders, and establish new customers by planning and organizing a daily work schedule. Keeps the President / CEO informed by submitting activity and result reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans. Monitor competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and market techniques. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. Qualification / Experience / Skills : BE /MBA degree with Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration. 10 years of industry sales experience, i.e, knowledge of Utility Pole related products is preferable. General Manager (Sales / Marking Utility Poles) for the region North / West Competencies Very Good Communication Skills, High Negotiation & Presentation Skills, and Territory Management.
