Role Overview As a Tech Lead at Hezky, you’ll take ownership of the technical direction of our products. You will lead a small but powerful engineering team, guide architectural decisions, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features. You will also oversee sprint planning, task assignments, and ensure smooth project execution from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable web and IoT applications Manage and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and set coding standards Plan and manage sprints, allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams to align tech roadmap with business needs Own and optimize the backend (Node.js) and frontend (Angular/React) stack Oversee integration with IoT gateways, MQTT brokers, and real-time data pipelines Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with standards like 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 27001 Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime and data continuity Collaborate with DevOps to maintain and evolve pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/DO) Requirements 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (Node.js, Angular/React) Strong experience with project management and sprint execution (Agile/Scrum preferred) Experience with REST APIs, microservices, databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB), and message brokers (MQTT preferred) Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/DigitalOcean), CI/CD, and system scalability Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with IoT systems is a plus Why Join Hezky Build systems that power real-world pharmaceutical compliance and save lives Define and drive tech strategy at a high-growth startup Flexible, ownership-driven work culture Work closely with founders and cross-functional teams to deliver products that matter Benefits: Competitive salary Remote work options/ flexible hours.
