Role & responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D models of dams, hydropower plants, tunnels, penstocks, spillways, and other hydraulic structures using BIM tools. Prepare design drawings, general arrangement drawings (GADs), construction drawings, and reinforcement detailing using Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. Collaborate with structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, and electromechanical teams for coordinated BIM modeling and clash detection. Maintain and update BIM models throughout various design stages (Concept, Detailed Engineering, As-built). Follow project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure model/drawing compliance with applicable standards and naming conventions. Perform quantity take-offs, generate BOMs and BBS using BIM models. Coordinate with international and multidisciplinary teams for BIM collaboration and data exchange via CDE platforms. Participate in design reviews, clash coordination meetings, and incorporate feedback from engineering leads. Support the development of visualizations, construction sequencing (4D), and quantity simulations (5D), as required.
