Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate TGT English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature to students of middle and secondary school (Grades 6 to 10). The ideal candidate should have excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and a flair for innovative teaching methodologies aligned with the NEP 2020. --- Key Responsibilities: Teach English (literature, grammar, writing, and comprehension) in an engaging and effective manner. Design and implement lesson plans that adhere to the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and critical thinking. Evaluate and assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, projects, and oral presentations. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other required data. Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations (if applicable). Organize and participate in co-curricular activities related to language and literature (debates, elocution, dramatics, etc.). Provide regular feedback to parents during PTMs and as needed. Collaborate with other subject teachers to ensure cross-curricular integration. Attend staff meetings, training programs, and professional development sessions. --- Qualifications and Skills: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English (Honours/Pass) from a recognized university. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary school level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school. Skills: Proficient in English (spoken and written). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to integrate ICT and other modern pedagogical tools into the teaching process. Creative, patient, and passionate about teaching young learners. Familiarity with CBSE norms, NEP 2020 framework, and assessment techniques. --- Preferred: Experience with activity-based and experiential learning methods. Exposure to digital teaching platforms (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.). Certification in English language teaching (like CELTA, TEFL) is a plus but not mandatory.
