Accountant – Construction Industry Location: Cochin | Full-time We are hiring an Accountant with minimum 1 year of experience in the construction/contracting field. The role requires handling project-based accounts and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounts and project-wise financial records. Prepare and manage invoices, purchase orders, and work orders. Track and reconcile vendor, subcontractor, and labour payments. Oversee payroll, petty cash, and site-level expenses. Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Support project costing, BOQ tracking, and budget reports. Generate MIS and financial summaries for management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting or related field. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction/contracting. Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance requirements. Good communication and organizational skills.
