Job Title: Maintenance Head - Open Die Forging Location : Palghar Experience : 15+ years in preferably in open die forging hydraulic presses and rail bound manipulator Educational Qualification : B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering Key Equipment Under Responsibility Forging Presses: HBE 2500 / HBE 3000 (Hydraulic) Heating Equipment: Gas furnaces Manipulators & Handling Equipment Overhead Cranes (EOT) Hydraulic Power Packs and Cooling Systems Air Compressors, and Utilities (if required) Role Purpose To lead, plan, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of forging equipment including HBE 2500 / HBE 3000 hydraulic presses, furnaces, manipulators, cranes, and auxiliary systems, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Ensure optimum health and availability of hydraulic forging presses (Open Die). Lead preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) programs across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot critical breakdowns and ensure quick resolution with root cause analysis (RCA). Maintain and monitor performance parameters like MTTR, MTBF, OEE. 2. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and shift fitters. Conduct skill assessment and technical training for the maintenance team. Allocate resources for daily maintenance activities and emergency support. 3. Strategic Planning & Improvement Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with plant production targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, and 5S in maintenance practices. Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless operations. 4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management Maintain critical spare parts inventory for open die press and other key equipment. Coordinate with the procurement team for sourcing OEM parts and maintenance consumables. Implement spare part usage tracking and cost control measures. 5. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety protocols, statutory requirements, and machine guarding standards. Conduct hazard analysis and implement corrective actions on maintenance-related safety risks. Participate in audits (internal, ISO, OHSAS) and ensure closure of observations. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, breakdown logs, RCA reports, and spare part consumption. Present monthly performance reports to senior management with analysis and improvement plans. Maintain OEM manuals, electrical schematics, and maintenance history for all critical machines.

Job Title: Quality-Head Location: Palghar, Maharashtra Qualifications: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering (preferred); M.Tech or post-graduate specialization in Quality / Metallurgy is a plus. Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO/TS/IATF 16949 Internal Auditor; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Control in a heavy forging / steel manufacturing industry. Minimum 2-5 years in a leadership role managing quality of ingot-based forging using large hydraulic press machines. Hands-on experience with mechanical and metallurgical testing, ultrasonic testing (UT), and NDT. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of forging process, heat treatment cycles, and metallurgical behavior of steels. Sound knowledge of mechanical and NDT inspection methods. Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, PPAP, APQP. Analytical mindset and ability to drive root cause analysis and CAPA. Leadership and team development skills. Good communication, documentation, and customer handling abilities. Job Purpose: The Quality Head will be responsible for establishing and managing the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) systems and processes across the entire round bar forging operations. This includes overseeing the quality of ingot-based production using HBE 2500 and HBE 3000 hydraulic open die forging machines, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations. The role is critical to driving continuous improvement and ensuring zero-defect delivery. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities: Define and implement the plant-wide Quality strategy aligned with the business goals. Lead and develop a team of QA/QC engineers, metallurgists, and inspectors. Establish and drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Operational Quality Control: Monitor and control quality across the forging process from raw material (ingots) to finished round bars (bright bar). Supervise and validate inspection activities at each stage: pre-forging, forging (HBE 2500/3000), heat treatment, machining, and dispatch. Ensure that round bar forging processes are executed as per defined SOPs, process sheets, and control plans. Review and analyze process parameters and deviation reports, and implement corrective actions. Testing and Metallurgical Evaluation: Ensure mechanical, dimensional, and metallurgical testing (UT, MPI, hardness, tensile, impact, grain flow, microstructure, PMI, etc.) are conducted as per customer and standard requirements. Oversee calibration and upkeep of testing instruments and lab equipment. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure complete documentation of quality records, process certifications, and test reports. Maintain traceability of materials and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable certification. Ensure product and process conformity to national and international standards such as ASTM, DIN, EN, JIS, and customer-specific specifications. Customer Focus and Audits: Act as the quality liaison for customer audits, approvals, and visits. Address and resolve customer complaints using root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, 5-Whys). Conduct internal audits and supplier quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are closed effectively. Continuous Improvement: Implement and lead Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives in the quality domain. Drive productivity through quality improvement projects and scrap/waste reduction.
