Role & responsibilities Perform Before Heating Inspection check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish & machining allowances before heat treatment. Conduct Assembly Inspection verify matching accuracy, shut-off, parting line, slider & ejector movement, and alignment. Carry out Final Inspection – confirm dimensional & functional accuracy of complete mould/die before dispatch or trial. Prepare and maintain BHIR, AIR & Final Inspection Reports with proper documentation and traceability. Handle and maintain precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM, etc.).
