Position Overview: The Staff Nurse would focus on children's medical care from infancy to teenage years.The nurse would work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing medical care and support to children during treatment.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare domain, coupled with a passion for children's well-being, to provide care Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Assess and record patient symptoms, medical histories, and vital signs, and develop care plans based on this information. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals. Treatment: Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals. Documentation: Monitor and record patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Patient Safety: Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and safety procedures. Inventory Management: Ensure appropriate inventory at clinic level as well as in collaboration with pharmacy Immunisation protocol:Deliver Vaccines to all pediatric age group patients as per physician instruction under complete patient safety protocol Minor procedures: Conduct minor procedures like ear piercing, dressings, wound care etc under physician guidance following patient safety protocols Required Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelors degree in nursing (GNM/BSc) Valid registration in the state Nursing Council from where B.Sc. Nursing / GNM was completed. Clinical experience in a healthcare setting(pediatric units), like hospital or clinic. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a dynamic team.
