Healthcare support Worker- Adult Theatres

As an experienced Perioperative Healthcare Support Worker at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will play a crucial role in the enhanced network of care for orthopaedic patients at Gartnavel General Hospital. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your expert Perioperative skills, particularly in Orthopaedic theatres and all perioperative specialities such as Anaesthetics, Recovery, Scrub, and Healthcare support to support the expanding orthopaedic activity within GGC. - Being part of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing care programs, and implementing and evaluating these programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients within the perioperative department. - Demonstrating flexibility by working independently and collaboratively as part of an integrated team in a service that operates over a seven-day week, including out-of-hours shifts. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience as a Perioperative Healthcare support worker with expertise in Orthopaedic theatres and other perioperative specialities. - Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. - Flexibility to work within a service that operates seven days a week, including out-of-hours shifts. - PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check for all posts.
