As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient history, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other relevant information as dictated by the healthcare provider during patient visits. Your key duties will involve entering this data promptly and accurately into Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring all documentation complies with medical, legal, and regulatory standards, and maintaining patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, you will assist providers with administrative tasks related to medical documentation, review and update patient charts, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to facilitate efficient patient flow. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a degree in a health-related field, although prior experience as a medical scribe or in healthcare documentation will be considered a plus. It is essential to have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare procedures, as well as proficient computer skills, especially with EHR systems. Attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment are also key qualities we are looking for. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with healthcare professionals are highly valued in this position. You can expect to work in a clinical or hospital setting alongside healthcare providers, with the possibility of standing or sitting for extended periods. Your work hours may vary depending on clinic or hospital schedules, and this position is of a permanent nature.
