Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Coimbatore Reporting To: Manager Contact: 9942366831 Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team. The role involves dispensing medicines accurately, counseling patients on proper medication use, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately to patients/customers. Provide guidance on correct dosage, potential side effects, and safe medication use. Maintain records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and pharmacy transactions. Check for drug interactions and advise doctors/patients accordingly. Manage pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring expiry dates. Ensure proper storage of medicines as per regulations. Handle billing and cash management related to pharmacy sales. Comply with all legal and ethical requirements (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Council norms). Provide support in health camps, wellness programs, or vaccination drives (if applicable). Maintain a clean, safe, and customer-friendly pharmacy environment. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized institution. Valid Pharmacist License (State Pharmacy Council registration mandatory). Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist in hospital/retail pharmacy. Strong knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and drug regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask. Proficiency in pharmacy billing software (if applicable). Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Provident Fund Work Location: In person
