Job Description: Manager AR Job Title: Manager AR Department: AR Location: Noida Sector 136 Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 11 Years in AR operations (US Healthcare RCM) Job Summary: The Manager AR is responsible for end-to-end management of AR operations, including team leadership, client management, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement. The role requires deep domain knowledge of US Healthcare RCM, strong people management, and the ability to maintain effective client relationships through regular communication and data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership & Operations Oversight: Lead, guide, and manage AR teams, including Assistant Managers and Team Leads. Set performance targets and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs and SLAs. Review and enhance team productivity and quality on a regular basis. 2. Denial & Claims Strategy: Supervise resolution of complex denials and aged claims. Analyze denial trends, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely appeals. Drive process improvements to minimize denials and improve cash flow. 3. Strategic Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for client interactions and communications. Conduct weekly client meetings to review performance, share updates, and address any escalations or operational concerns. Maintain a strong client relationship by providing proactive insights and timely resolution of issues. 4. Reporting & Analytics: Oversee generation of AR aging reports, collections analysis, and dashboards. Present performance metrics and recovery trends to internal stakeholders and clients. Use data analytics to support decision-making and forecasting. 5. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure process adherence to HIPAA and other compliance standards. Conduct internal audits and implement quality improvement plans as needed. Monitor risk areas and drive accountability across teams. 6. Process Optimization & Technology Adoption: Identify gaps and lead process enhancement initiatives. Promote the use of automation tools and digital workflows in AR functions. Collaborate with IT and RPA teams to streamline claim processing operations. 7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Billing, Coding, Payment Posting, Credentialing, and QA departments. Resolve inter-departmental challenges to ensure end-to-end claim lifecycle efficiency. Facilitate onboarding and transition of new client processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare/Commerce preferred) Minimum 11+ years of experience in AR operations (US Healthcare RCM), with at least 3 years in a managerial role Strong understanding of denial management, payer guidelines, and AR analytics Proficient in RCM tools including Epic, ECW, Change Healthcare , and payer portals Advanced Excel and reporting proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven leadership in managing high-performance teams and meeting client SLAs Preferred Certifications: Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) PMP (Project Management Professional) CPAR / CRCR or other RCM-related certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
