In response to the environmental degradation caused by increasing tourism and human activity, the organization focuses on educating tourists, trekkers, and local communities about sustainable waste management. Healing Himalayas conducts year-round clean-up drives, establishes material recovery facilities, and promotes responsible tourism practices. By engaging with local communities, the foundation not only protects the natural beauty and ecological balance of the Himalayas but also enhances livelihoods and supports sustainable development in the region. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with MRF workers to monitor and ensure efficient waste segregation and processing. Conduct door-to-door communication to educate households and businesses on waste management practices and encourage participation. Plan and implement campaigns to promote waste reduction, recycling and proper disposal. Track, record, and analyze data on the amount and type of material/waste processed at the MRF and submit reports to the management. Collaborate with local authorities, and stakeholders to strengthen waste management initiatives. Create and distribute informational materials, including guides, posters, and pamphlets on waste management practices. Organize training sessions for MRF workers, community members, and other stakeholders on waste handling and segregation. Ensure the implementation of door-to-door waste collection and segregation activities in line with the organization's objectives. Qualifications and Skills: Graduation degrees in related fields like Social Work, Community Development or Waste Management are preferred, not mandatory. We value hands-on experience, problem-solving skills, and a strong passion for waste management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain minutes of Governing Body and General Body meetings. Ensure compliance under the Societies Registration Act. Assist in financial compliances such as audit support, tax filings, and certificate renewals. Liaise with government departments, Registrar of Societies, and other statutory authorities for approvals and submissions. Maintain complete employee records. Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of staff, consultants, and interns. Ensure statutory compliance including PF, ESI, labour laws, and employee insurance. Keep HR database, organisational structure, and employee files updated. Plan and implement employee engagement and welfare initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate/Postgraduate in related field (preferred, not mandatory). 2 years’ experience in compliance and administration. Familiarity with Society/Trust compliance and governance. Strong communication, record-keeping, and organisational skills. Knowledge of PF, ESI, labour laws, and statutory compliances.
