Head of Womens Department

The Head of Women's Department will be responsible for setting up and managing the women's football department, overseeing the implementation and evolution of women's football strategy, and reporting to the Secretary General. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in sports administration or women's football, hold an MBA or Sports Management qualification, and possess in-depth knowledge of the women's football ecosystem and regulatory framework. Fluency in English is required, and experience in playing, coaching, football administration, or refereeing is an asset. Key responsibilities include leading and driving the strategic development of women's football in various aspects such as participation growth, high performance, competitions, club and league development, coach education, regulatory framework and governance, social impact, professionalization, and leadership. The successful candidate will collaborate with the competitions department and other relevant AIFF departments, manage the development of women's football in Member Associations, develop new concepts and programs for women's football development, and drive cooperation and partnerships to benefit the growth of women's football. Additionally, the Head of Women's Department will oversee the creation of an AIFF women's football data hub, contribute to AIFF's overall strategic objectives and transformation, and ensure accountability, responsibility, and integrity in all activities.
