Head of Hardware Engineering

You will be joining Remotcare, a company that is at the forefront of building India's next-generation AI and IoT health monitoring ecosystem. Your role will involve designing, prototyping, and manufacturing innovative consumer and medical-grade IoT devices such as smartwatches, smart rings, health bands, and panic alert devices. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build electronics for next-generation wearables. - Integrate sensors like PPG, ECG, HRV, SpO2, temperature, accelerometer, and gyroscope. - Improve signal accuracy, reduce noise, and optimize power consumption. - Collaborate with the AI team to support predictive health models and anomaly detection. - Lead the full hardware lifecycle from prototype to mass production. - Develop firmware in C and C++ for low-power microcontrollers. - Work directly with manufacturers in China for quality production. - Prepare documentation for certification processes including CE, FCC, BIS, and battery safety. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in electronics or wearable IoT development. - Strong knowledge of embedded systems, PCB design, and low-power hardware. - Hands-on experience with BLE, sensor integration, and wearable hardware. - Proficiency with Altium, Eagle, or OrCAD, and firmware development in C and C++. - Direct experience working with China-based manufacturers. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with PPG, ECG, and HRV signal processing. - Exposure to ML or DSP for health signal analysis. - Knowledge of sensor calibration and filtering. - Startup or early-team experience.
