Head - Master Data Management

As a Head of Master Data Management at our Retail client, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of business and MDM processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Structuring the business hierarchies and driving the process of creating products and services masters - Defining best practices in MDM processes such as listing, de-listing, article creation, article master templates, validation, and process checks - Proposing automation solutions for repetitive processes - Collaborating with connected Business Functions to suggest process improvements - Developing MDM processes to enable quick and effective responses - Meeting SLAs for MDM activities and explaining/validating MDM processes to other functions - Maintaining efficiency in tasks, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with Excise Duty and Weights & Measures regulations - Maintaining assortment sizes, resolving issues, and generating periodic reports on various parameters to measure the health of MDM practices - Staying abreast of global best practices in MDM Key Skills required for this role include: - IS Retail Master Data Expertise - Proficiency in Excel - SAP knowledge relevant to work - Preferable knowledge of the Retail domain, especially Apparel In terms of People / Learning & Growth aspects, you will be responsible for: - Training the team in existing and new processes - Providing advice on new business requirements and changes - Keeping updated on the latest changes in MDM processes Qualifications preferred for this role are BCOM, MCOM, or ICWAI certified with 7-10 years of retail experience.
