As the Head of Logistics and Marketing at The PDP Group, your role involves driving business growth, enhancing market presence, and managing stakeholder relationships within the logistics industry. You will need to have a strong understanding of ICDCFS operations, coordinate across departments, and represent the Group confidently with various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include overseeing logistics operations, implementing strategies, managing inventory systems, and developing marketing initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Marketing, Business Growth & Market Positioning** - Develop and execute marketing strategies for various logistics verticals - Enhance brand visibility among importers, exporters, and other stakeholders - Support business development through client pitches and negotiations - Identify new markets and partnership opportunities - **Stakeholder & Shipping Line Relationship Management** - Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, importers, and regulatory stakeholders - Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts - Represent PDP Group at industry forums and trade meets - **ICD / CFS Operational Alignment** - Understand ICD & CFS operational processes - Ensure operational capabilities align with client commitments - Translate operational expertise into client-facing value propositions - **Cross-Departmental Coordination & Billing Oversight** - Coordinate with transport and operations teams for smooth service delivery - Ensure timely billing and revenue realization - Identify process gaps and improve customer experience - **Team Leadership & Mentoring** - Mentor and develop team members - Set clear expectations and build a culture of accountability - Act as a leadership role model - **Planning, Governance & Reporting** - Plan annual marketing and stakeholder engagement activities - Track key accounts, lead pipelines, and revenue impact - Provide regular updates to leadership on market trends and competitive landscape **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Masters degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field - **Experience:** 15+ years in logistics, ports, or CFS environments with exposure to ICD / CFS operations and shipping line management - **Key Skills & Competencies:** Strong understanding of logistics operations, stakeholder management, leadership, strategic thinking, and willingness to travel extensively Your role at The PDP Group will be crucial in driving growth, strengthening relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in the logistics sector.
