Job Description

Role & responsibilities To take overall responsibility for functioning of Engineering services and projects at Taloja plant. To comply various statutory norms as per MPCB, Factory Rules & Dept of explosive. To Achieve Production Targets in Factory by ensuring Minimal Downtime in Mechanical, Electrical & Utility services. To ensure smooth functioning of all utility / Pollution Control Services at Taloja. To plan activities like Spare Management, preventive maintenance schedules, implementation of CLIT. To initiate / plan / implement projects for capacity, install pollution control devices to comply statutory norms. To achieve savings on account of vendor development, energy savings, planning etc. Monitoring and control of all expenses in the area of indirect labor, repairs and maintenance, consumables, fuel, overtime. To ensure meeting of the legal requirements, consent compliance, statutory legal returns and maintain cordial relations with various government agencies. To initiate immediate action in case of violations if any. To coordinate with vendors, logistics to develop local spares. To assess competency of subordinates, training needs and arrange for training Preferred candidate profile Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 15 year experience in manufacturing units. Must have leadership qualities. Must have expertise to handle projects and pollution related activities. Must have liaisoning power with external agencies. Must be receptive.
