Roles And Responsibilities The Technology PMO Lead will be responsible for effectively managing high risk and large-scale critical projects/programme that would deliver against the Company plan. Also responsible for leading and driving new and existing transitions for the addition of new services (migrating, improving and optimizing the business process into our environment). The PMO will manage and support the team in delivery of their projects to improve programme assurance. Follow a consistent and formally defined project management approach for IT projects undertaken. The project management approach shall, inter alia, enable appropriate stakeholder participation for effective monitoring and management of project risks and progress. Adopting new or emerging technologies, tools, or revamping their existing ones in the technology stack and following a standard enterprise architecture planning methodology or framework. To maintain enterprise data dictionary to enable the sharing of data among applications and information systems along with promoting a common understanding of data. To ensure that maintenance and necessary support of software applications is provided by the software vendors and the same is enforced through formal agreement. To obtain the source codes for all critical applications from their vendors and ensure that all product updates and programme fixes are included in the source code escrow arrangement. Complete handling of the timelines and performance tracking of a project/ programme. Validation and analysis of project progress and highlight showstoppers. Developing and maintaining the programme management plan, publish schedules, weekly and monthly reporting to key stakeholders on project progress. Should possess an ability to engage with various team members from cross functional technology and business. Discuss scope of projects with business and technology team and doing feasibility analysis. Good understanding of project, portfolio and service management. Ensuring PMO services are delivered using best in class practices and methodologies. Contributing to building PMO proposals. Negotiate on functionalities with technology partners/vendors and prioritizing deliverables. End to end coordination from business, technology and other department on activities/projects. Participate in investigation and resolution of complex and unusual problem. Recommend change to established method, suggest alternative method. Provide support for creating and maintaining project documentation as per the project development life cycle. Implementation and post implementation And Experience : Minimum of 10-12 years of experience and should have been in a project management role. Experience of leading and managing teams. Should have managed a large project end-to-end following the project management methodology. Must actively practice the concepts of project management.
