We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Solution Architect with deep expertise in Finance and Project Accounting. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) solutions tailored to client business needs. The role requires occasional travel (up to 20–30%) to collaborate onsite with clients and project teams. Key Responsibilities Lead solution architecture and design for D365 F&O implementations, with primary focus on Finance and Project Accounting modules. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and design scalable solutions. Guide configuration, customization, and integration of D365 F&O Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, and Project Accounting. Define and document solution architectures, data models, and integration frameworks with other business systems and third-party applications. Provide strategic guidance, best practices, and ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and scalability standards. Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and solution demonstrations. Partner with developers, consultants, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions within scope, budget, and timeline. Support pre-sales activities such as solution envisioning, proposal development, and client presentations. Stay up to date with D365 product roadmaps, features, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with strong expertise in Finance and Project Accounting modules. Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in complex, multi-entity, and project-driven environments. Deep understanding of finance processes and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.). Experience integrating D365 with other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, reporting tools, etc.). Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to travel up to 20%. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certification(s) in Dynamics 365. Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) and Azure integration services. Background in project-based industries such as professional services, construction, or engineering. Experience in global or multi-country rollouts. Additional Desired Experience 3–5+ years implementing D365 F&O with focus on Supply Chain, specifically Warehouse Management. At least one full life-cycle implementation of D365 F&O with knowledge of product lifecycle management tools (LCS, TFS, etc.). Experience with integration tools and third-party add-ons. Familiarity with core business processes such as supply chain, manufacturing, sales & marketing, field service, and case management. Skilled in documenting requirements in ADO, creating process flows, and developing test scripts for E2E and UAT.
