Job Title: Consultant Commercial Strategy Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Function: Commercial Strategy & Market Research | Beghou Purpose of the Job As a Consultant at Beghou, you will lead and support high-impact projects that combine quantitative primary market research (PMR) and data-driven commercial strategy for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. This role sits at the intersection of client insights, analytics, and brand strategy , with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations through structured problem solving and market understanding. You will partner with cross-functional teams—including project managers, data scientists, engineers, and domain experts—to guide clients in demand study and forecasting, ATUs , TPP build, segmentation, targeting, and market shaping . You’ll also work closely with Beghou’s leadership and client teams to translate survey data and stakeholder insights into strategic frameworks and brand activation plans . Key Responsibilities Quantitative Market Research Design and execute end-to-end PMR studies (segmentation, ATU, message testing, TPP validation, demand study etc.) Develop survey instruments, analyze data outputs, and perform cluster analysis, MaxDiff, TURF , and other techniques Partner with solution and data science teams to integrate research insights with advanced analytics and forecasting models Commercial Strategy Development Contribute to strategic initiatives across launch planning , market landscape assessments , and growth strategies for life sciences brands Develop and communicate compelling insights from both quantitative and secondary data Drive client deliverables such as go-to-market playbooks, HCP segmentation frameworks, and messaging blueprints Client Engagement Lead internal and client-facing workstreams with strong project management discipline Present insights in a structured, consultative manner to brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders Collaborate with global Beghou teams (India and U.S.) to deliver high-quality, on-time project outcomes Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharma, Business, Economics, Psychology, Life Sciences, or Quantitative Research 3–6 years of experience in PMR and strategic consulting within the life sciences industry Experience in designing and analyzing quantitative studies (especially segmentation and message testing) Understanding of pharma brand strategy, including launch, lifecycle, and competitive positioning High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint ; knowledge of Q, SPSS, R, or Python a strong plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill data into strategic narratives Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across geographies and time zones Preferred Qualifications Prior consulting experience with top 25 pharma clients or biotech companies Experience in rare disease, immunology, or oncology segments Familiarity with integrating PMR outputs into field force strategy, forecast models, or commercial data tools
