Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Programmer to lead the development and optimization of high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate is a seasoned backend developer who writes clean, efficient, and secure PHP code and is proficient in modern frameworks and architecture. Key Responsibilities Lead backend development using PHP (preferably Laravel or Symfony) Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and security Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways Participate in architectural decisions and product planning Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development Strong experience with Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and MVC architecture Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus Experience with version control systems like Git Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools is advantageous Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) Familiarity with microservices architecture Working knowledge of testing tools (PHPUnit, Codeception) Contribution to open-source projects or technical blogs What We Offer Competitive salary and performance bonuses Flexible work hours and remote options Friendly, collaborative work culture Opportunities for continuous learning and growth Health insurance and other employee benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,042.36 - ₹48,587.81 per month Work Location: In person
