As an UI/UX Designer(Machine), your primary responsibilities will include designing user interfaces for automotive and heavy equipment systems. You will be required to apply HMI principles to ensure intuitive and safe user experiences. Your role will involve executing the full UX lifecycle, which includes research, IA, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and final specs. It is essential to utilize UCD and HCI methodologies to guide design decisions effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary to align UX with product goals. Additionally, you will be expected to create prototypes and UI simulations using tools like Figma. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of UX/UI experience in automotive or heavy machinery domains. A degree in Design (Bachelors or Masters) from a reputed institute is required. Preferred certifications such as CUA or HFI-HMI would be an added advantage. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential. A strong understanding of HMI, UCD, and HCI processes is crucial. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also necessary for effective collaboration with the team.
