Job Description
We are hiring HCC Medical Coders (Non-Certified) with experience in medical billing / healthcare for our rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate must have basic knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCC coding, and US healthcare documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Review patient charts and assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes as per CMS-HCC guidelines.
Ensure coding accuracy and productivity as per project requirements.
Validate documentation to capture all relevant chronic conditions and risk factors.
Meet daily/weekly production and quality targets.
Maintain compliance with client and CMS coding guidelines.
Collaborate with QA team for feedback and improvement.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of ICD-10-CM and HCC concepts.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, A&P, and clinical documentation.
Experience in medical billing, AR calling, or healthcare documentation preferred.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility
Experience: 0.6 months to 2 years in healthcare / medical billing / medical coding.
Certification not mandatory (Non-certified candidates can apply).
Life Science Background Preferred: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Pharm / BPT / Nursing / Microbiology / Biotechnology etc.
