Define, track, and report on process safety KPIs: leading/lagging indicators, MOC compliance, audit results, training metrics. Proactively identify and implement process safety improvement opportunities in design, engineering, and operations. Advise on change management initiatives impacting process safety and integrate PSM best practices in all process developments. Preferred candidate profile B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering. Additional qualification in Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred. At least 10 years in chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, or hazardous process industries. Demonstrated hands-on expertise in both Process Safety Management and Process Engineering for complex plant operations. Advanced knowledge and practical application of risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, QRA, What-If studies. Deep understanding of OSHA process safety standards, relevant environmental laws, and regulatory compliance. Strong skills in process design, engineering calculations, and process optimization. Proven leadership abilities for motivating and managing cross-functional teams; experience in stakeholder management.
