As an Economics & Markets Strategy Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring economic developments and market trends, translating insights into actionable trade ideas, and contributing to impactful research that is disseminated to clients globally. Your role will involve analyzing emerging markets and their effects on FX and interest rate products, developing valuation models, conducting statistical analysis of macroeconomic data, and producing analytical reports for global investors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales & Trading, on strategic initiatives and provide market commentary based on key macroeconomic releases. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing financial frameworks and tools to facilitate decision-making and lead or support process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in financial markets research, particularly in currency markets. You should have a strong analytical background, a profound understanding of macroeconomics and FX, and proficiency in tools such as Bloomberg, Haver Analytics, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills are essential for client and stakeholder interactions, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality insights within deadlines is crucial. Preferred skills include proficiency in Python and progress towards a CFA designation.
