As an experienced CAD Drafter at Conserve Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include: - Producing detailed and accurate 2D architectural and shop drawings using AutoCAD. - Guiding junior team members and overseeing the quality of their outputs and documentation. - Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other disciplines for seamless design integration and clash detection. - Conducting periodic quality assurance checks, maintaining model version control, and managing change documentation. - Communicating effectively with project managers, team leaders, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve queries. - Ensuring strict adherence to local and international codes, drawing standards (ISO 10209-1:1992 and ISO 128-1:2020), and company protocols. - Continuously seeking to improve drafting processes and adopting new software tools. Your technical skills should include a strong ability to interpret architectural sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications. You should have knowledge of design development, documentation, and international drawing standards. Experience in interdisciplinary coordination and integration with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks is essential. Additionally, you must maintain drawing quality and standards by utilizing correct line weights, hatches, dimensions, and annotation styles. Keeping a project specifications checklist to meet client standards is also crucial, along with excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
