Hatchery Assistant

Job Description

Egg Handling- Receive and inspect incoming eggs for quality and viability. Safely transport and store eggs in designated areas. Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions. Incubation Management: Operate and maintain incubators according to established guidelines. Regularly check and adjust temperature, humidity, and ventilation settings. Record and document incubation parameters. Embryo Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of developing embryos. Identify and address any issues affecting embryo health. Follow established procedures for transferring eggs between incubation stages. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hatchery activities. Document key data such as hatch rates, mortality rates, and incubation conditions. Prepare reports for management as required.
