Key Responsibilities: · Sales Strategy & Execution: o Drive and monitor overall sales performance across the state to achieve or exceed targets. o Develop state-specific sales strategies aligned with national goals. o Forecast and set individual targets for sales representatives and ensure area-wise target achievement. · Team Management: o Allocate territories to team members and ensure optimal coverage of the region. o Monitor, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and achieve targets. o Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance evaluations. · Market Development: o Identify and explore new business opportunities, including untapped markets and segments. o Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including school principals, administrators, and educational institutions. o Drive the acquisition of passive and potential customers swiftly and effectively. · Customer Engagement & Retention: o Build long-term relationships with existing customers ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. o Handle client escalations and ensure resolution with a customer-first approach. o Post-sale follow-ups to ensure product adoption and feedback collection. · Marketing & Brand Visibility: o Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement localized campaigns and events. o Work on brand-building activities to increase product penetration and recall. · Business Analysis & Reporting: o Compile and analyze sales figures and market trends to inform strategy. o Provide regular reports to senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities. o Stay updated on competitors’ activities and market developments. Requirements: · Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. · Experience: 8–12 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education, publishing, or ed-tech sector, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role. · Skills: o Strong leadership and team management abilities. o Excellent communication and negotiation skills. o Analytical thinking and strategic planning. o Market and customer orientation. o Ability to lead large cross-functional initiatives.
