We are seeking a Power System Engineer with 2-10 years of relevant professional experience . The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate expertise in power system analysis software. This role requires an individual who is flexible, adaptable, and capable of performing complex technical modeling and grid studies while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Technical Modeling & Analysis : Perform technical modeling and power grid studies using industry-standard software such as PSS/E, PSLF, EMTP, PSCAD, ETAP , and MiPower . This includes conducting studies for generator interconnection, load forecasting , and harmonics analysis . Automation & Process Improvement : Develop tools and scripts using software like Python and Visual Basic to automate repetitive tasks and improve project efficiency. Project Management : Manage multiple projects concurrently, identifying and addressing critical path items to meet deadlines. You will assist project managers and coordinate with team members to ensure all deliverables are completed on time. Collaboration & Standards : Work both independently and with the team, with the flexibility to adapt to multiple time zones. You should be familiar with industry standards such as IEEE/NERC and IEC . Required Qualifications Education : A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering. Experience : 2-10 years of relevant professional experience. Technical Skills : Demonstrated expertise in power system analysis software. Experience with North American power system fundamentals is an added advantage. Personal Attributes : Strong ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. You must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and be willing to travel internationally as needed.

As the Head of Engineering at our Chinchwad location within the Hydrogen division, you will be responsible for various key tasks related to the design of transformers, reactors, and other electrical components. With 12 to 15 years of experience and a BE/Diploma in electrical/electronics/power electronics, you will lead a team of design engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects from concept to delivery. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-order discussions with customers, handling enquiries, optimizing costs, preparing technical specifications, and drawing approvals. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and providing technical support to different teams as needed. Desirable skills and knowledge for this role include proficiency in software like AutoCAD and e-plan, knowledge of Thyristor & IGBT rectifiers, expertise in calculations for harmonics and power factors, and experience in commissioning and servicing transformers on-site. You should also be familiar with mechanical design aspects of transformers, quality tools, root cause analysis, and CAPA. Essential skills and knowledge required are the ability to design converter grade transformers, select appropriate winding configurations, perform thermal calculations for cooling methods, design reactors and hermetically sealed transformers, and adhere to relevant national and international standards. As a Substation Engineer (Electrical) at Assystem, you will play a crucial role in the design and engineering works related to EHV/HV Substations, DRPC/SVC Stations, OHTL & Underground distribution, and renewable power plants. With a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree and 7 to 10 years of extensive experience, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and thorough designs that meet industry standards, international design standards, and engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of specifications for Substation Equipments and components, as well as engineering calculations such as Grounding, lighting, lightning, load calculations, breaker & cable calculations, equipment sizing, short circuit analysis, bus-bar sizing, overhead conductor sizing, sag tension, and cable pulling & tension calculations. Additionally, you will utilize software tools like ETAP, PSCAD, PLSCADD, CDEGS, CYMGRD, DIALUX, DIgSILENT, PLEXOS for energy modeling and power system engineering simulations.
