You should be familiar with system engineering processes, including top-down design, requirements allocation/traceability, and an integrated test approach. It is essential to have knowledge of the systems and/or software development life cycle. Experience with test equipment such as meters and oscilloscopes is required. Your responsibilities will include establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring the integration of the entire system or subsystem. You will also be expected to review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability, as well as develop and direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work in a group development environment. You must be well-organized, able to take direction well, and be a self-starter willing to seek assignments and guidance. Good communication skills are essential, and you should be able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.,
