Job Summary As a Technical Content Writer at Nomad Tech Labs, you will create high-quality documentation that bridges complex technical concepts across software applications, hardware systems, and industrial automation platforms . You will work closely with engineering, product, and client teams to produce user manuals, technical guides, process documentation, and internal knowledge bases that are clear, accurate, and aligned with industry standards. This role requires a solid understanding of software development processes, hardware integration, and industrial workflows (such as in steel manufacturing environments) . Key Responsibilities Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including software feature guides, hardware integration manuals, industrial process documentation, FAQs, and internal SOPs . Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and hardware specialists to gather detailed technical information. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly content tailored for diverse audiences (end-users, internal teams, clients). Ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to documentation best practices and industry standards. Organize and manage internal knowledge repositories ensuring up-to-date and easily accessible information. Actively incorporate feedback from engineering, product, and client teams to refine and improve documentation. Contribute to the development of documentation strategies, templates, and style guides to ensure scalability and efficiency. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across India and Europe , managing documentation projects with attention to timelines and quality. Preferred Qualities 5+ years of experience in technical writing for software and hardware products . A strong grasp of industrial technologies, IoT systems, automation platforms, or manufacturing software is highly desirable. Excellent English writing and communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex information. Familiarity with Agile development environments and working in collaboration with developers, product managers, and hardware teams . Ability to collaborate with cross-cultural, remote teams effectively. Experience with content management systems (CMS), documentation tools like Confluence, Markdown, or DITA . Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or object-oriented programming concepts is a plus. Exposure to hardware-software interfacing, PLCs, or SCADA systems is an added advantage.
