Hardware Security Architect Staff / Senior Staff

You will be joining the team at Qualcomm Snapdragon processors responsible for the security architecture. The team collaborates on a system level across hardware, software, and infrastructure to deliver cutting-edge solutions. You will engage with various stakeholders like product management, customers, partners, and engineering teams to optimize security solutions for different devices utilizing Snapdragon processors. These processors are designed to meet diverse security requirements, incorporating technologies such as Root of Trust, Integrated Secure Element, Virtualization, and Confidential Compute. **Key Responsibilities:** - Establish system security requirements for Server SoC focusing on functionality, performance, and security levels. - Specify and review the architecture and implementation of System/SoC level security mechanisms. - Conduct platform security threat analysis. - Perform competitive analysis of security systems and features. - Explore future server security-related technologies. - Serve as the technical interface to product management and standards teams. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. In this role, you are expected to have 10+ years of industry experience in SoC Security encompassing architecture and design, along with 5+ years of experience in Compute and/or Data Centre SoC Architecture. Your expertise in Security Technologies like Root of Trust, TEE, and Access Control, as well as proficiency in Confidential Compute Architecture, will be crucial. Strong capabilities in creating architecture-level documentation and experience in HW/SW threat analysis are also essential.
