Hardware Lead Engineer

As a Hardware Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of Automotive Inverters. Your expertise in hardware architecture, component selection, EMI/EMC compliance, and high-frequency inverter design will be essential in ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration with software, mechanical, and system engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include developing hardware architectures, interpreting system specifications, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance, selecting active components, designing high-frequency inverters, working with microcontrollers, and ensuring PCB layout and safety compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing hardware design and meeting system-level requirements. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field, along with proven experience in inverter hardware development. Proficiency in circuit design, PCB tools, EMI/EMC standards, SiC/GaN power semiconductors, automotive microcontrollers, and PCB layout for systems with IEC 60664 compliance is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in automotive inverter development for EV/HEV applications, knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262), and automotive-grade hardware design.
