Responsibilities: Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to manage hardware installations and lifecycle processes at the data center. Develop and execute strategies to address the backlog of hardware installations and lifecycle management. Streamline CapEx procurement processes to ensure timely approvals and resource allocation. Establish and track key metrics to measure process efficiency and hardware utilization. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT Data Center Ops and Engineering teams for optimized workflows. Lead automation initiatives for hardware procurement, allocation, and tracking. Conduct regular progress reviews with leadership and peers to refine operational strategies. Ensure comprehensive documentation and transparency in hardware lifecycle management, establishing a structured framework by the end of the first year. Requirements: Strong understanding of data center operations and hardware lifecycle management. Experience in CapEx procurement and project management. Proficiency in tracking and managing hardware installations and deployments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Ability to analyze and enhance operational processes for improved efficiency. Familiarity with automation tools and techniques in data center environments. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. Note: This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
