Job Description

Job Title: Engineer Hardware Function: Technology Job Description Purpose of the Role: The Engineer Hardware will be responsible for understanding PCB functionality and assisting the team in testing and debugging activities. The role requires expertise in schematic design, component selection, and collaboration with vendors and production teams to ensure seamless hardware development and deployment. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze schematics, perform board bring-up, and debug PCBs. Capture Bill of Materials (BOM) and identify alternate components. Assess component requirements and verify availability. Coordinate with vendors for component exploration and sample procurement. Utilize Digital Multimeters (DMMs) and oscilloscopes for testing and validation. Design schematics and PCBs while managing the complete hardware design lifecycle. Generate production-related documents, including BOM, PCBA, DXF, STEP, and Gerber files. Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers. Provide support for issues reported by production and assembly teams. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETC). Experience: 3-5 years in hardware design and development. Proficiency in handling testing equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes. Strong debugging skills with guidance from senior engineers.
