Hardware Engineer - Intern

As a Hardware Engineer Intern at EMO Energy, you will be involved in supporting the design, development, and testing of hardware for EV battery systems. This role will provide you with hands-on exposure to various aspects of hardware engineering in the EV industry, working alongside experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the design, testing, and validation of battery hardware and circuit boards. - Supporting schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection for different modules. - Helping in the assembly, soldering, and debugging of hardware prototypes in the lab. - Conducting electrical, performance, and reliability tests on battery modules and electronics. - Utilizing tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers for testing and debugging. - Participating in hardware bring-up activities and prototype evaluations. - Documenting test procedures, observations, and hardware improvements. - Collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and battery teams to resolve issues and refine designs. Qualifications we are looking for in potential candidates include: - Final-year students pursuing Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. - Basic knowledge of circuit design, electronic components, and hardware fundamentals. - Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc. - Hands-on experience with hardware tools like soldering iron, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and readiness for hands-on engineering work.
