Job Description

As an R&D Hardware Engineer at Schneider Electric, your role will involve designing, developing, and validating electronic hardware for intelligent devices used in commercial building HVAC systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, energy-efficient, and standards-compliant solutions for modern building automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design analog and digital circuits for intelligent devices such as environmental sensors, pressure sensors, and gas sensors. - Select and integrate various sensors like position, temperature, pressure, and air quality sensors. - Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using industry-standard tools like Cadence tools. - Perform hardware validation, testing, and debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. - Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, safety, and HVAC industry standards. - Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to define product architecture. - Support prototype development and transition to mass production. - Document hardware designs, test procedures, and compliance reports. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems.
