As a Merchandising Manager at Aesthetic Living Merchants Pvt. Ltd. Your key responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of production merchants across hardgoods and furniture categories, owning Time & Action calendars to ensure execution from order receipt to dispatch, coordinating with sampling, QA, logistics, and factories for seamless execution, serving as the primary point of contact for international buyers, driving process improvements, updating trackers, and presenting performance reviews to leadership. The ideal candidate for this role will have 8-10 years of export merchandising experience, preferably in furniture/hardgoods, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial/team lead role. You should have a strong grip on ERP systems such as Microsoft Navision, Business Central, or similar, excellent communication skills for buyer coordination and cross-functional teamwork, hands-on understanding of production, QA, and factory processes, high ownership mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setup. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the packing team. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to packing and safety. - Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement in the packing process and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and reduce bottlenecks. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations to incorporate best practices. - Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of packing operations, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control logs. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on packing performance and improvements. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and regulations. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging) - Qualification will be preferred. Experience : 8 to 20 years of experience in packing or production management, preferably in a manufacturing or export environment. Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience of packing processes, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and production management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes : Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
