Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in hangar construction and aviation facility development to contribute to the design, planning, and execution of aircraft maintenance infrastructure. The ideal candidate will balance structural engineering proficiency with a strong understanding of MRO operational needs , ensuring optimized turn times, reduced costs, and increased efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design & Planning: Develop structural designs for aircraft hangars , integrating operational requirements for MRO efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Project Delivery Management: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including architects, engineers, and builders , ensuring seamless project execution via design-build, design-bid-build, EPC (engineer-procure-construct) , or other delivery methods. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, airport authority standards , and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. Materials & Structural Evaluation: Select optimal construction materials, assessing durability and suitability for aviation environments. Cost & Resource Optimization: Prepare budget estimates , monitor resource allocation , and implement strategies to minimize MRO costs while maintaining quality. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a single point of contact , working closely with contractors, airport authorities, and program managers to maintain accountability. End-to-End Project Support: Oversee permitting, commissioning, startup , and other critical phases to ensure timely project completion. Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex engineering challenges. Prepare and review engineering reports, documentation, and regulatory submissions. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors/ Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in aviation facility design and hangar construction . Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro , or other structural analysis and building design software . Comprehensive knowledge of airport infrastructure regulations , safety standards, and MRO operational requirements . Strong project management skills with experience in design-build and EPC methodologies . Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in airport construction, aviation facility development, or MRO support structures . In-depth understanding of steel structure engineering, foundation design, and sustainable construction methods . Familiarity with program management and cost-efficient engineering solutions .
