As a Database Services Lead, you will be responsible for pre-sales activities, project intake, and estimation. You will collaborate closely with clients to define delivery approach, methodology, and ensure successful project completion. Your role will involve providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery. You will be accountable for establishing effective organization, governance, and decision-making structures to achieve the desired outcomes outlined in the business case, requirements, and project charter. It will be your responsibility to ensure that industry-standard practices for Database Services are implemented and followed. In this position, you will lead and mentor a team of DBAs, acting as an escalation point for delivery issues. Regular delivery risk assessments will be conducted under your supervision, and you will support project teams in addressing and resolving any escalations that may arise. Additionally, you will oversee vendor contracting and management to maintain service quality standards. Primary Skills required for this role include hands-on experience as a DBA and proficiency in MS SQL, Oracle, and MySQL RDBMS. Familiarity with Lean, Agile, or Scrum methodologies for enterprise IT delivery is preferred. You should have a track record of managing and developing high-performing project teams. Soft Skills such as excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities will be essential for engaging with senior stakeholders effectively. Strong interpersonal skills are also crucial for building relationships within the team and with external partners. Ideally, you should hold a B.E. / B. Tech. degree, and an MBA qualification would be considered an advantage. The desired experience range for this role is between 10 to 20 years. This position is for a single individual, with an immediate start date in Bangalore, India. Occasional travel may be required for this role, including potential on-site work needs.,
