As a Logistics Coordinator based in Pune, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating daily logistics operations at the Hoskote Warehouse. Your responsibilities will include vehicle dispatch planning, route optimization, order scheduling, coordination with drivers and third-party partners, handling customer queries, monitoring vehicle movement, and managing in-transit issues. It will be your duty to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, minimize vehicle costs and damages, and collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve any order errors or cancellations. Your key responsibilities as a logistics coordinator will involve coordinating and managing logistics operations in specific locations, including coordinating vehicle dispatch, monitoring vehicle movement, handling customer calls for scheduling orders, planning daily routes for efficient delivery, scheduling urgent pickups, controlling vehicle costs, following up and resolving customer escalations via email, managing vehicle arrangement and maintenance, training and developing support staff, controlling in-transit damage, and coordinating with the warehouse team to address errors and cancellations. Additionally, you will be required to plan alternative orders in case of in-transit cancellations.
