As a Clay Moulding Instructor at Nalanda Vidyaniketan, located in Vijayawada, you will be instrumental in enhancing the creative and artistic skills of students. Furthermore, you will lead students in crafting individual and group clay projects, ranging from basic forms to intricate sculptures, thereby aiding them in grasping design concepts and material handling techniques. Organizing art exhibitions and showcases to exhibit students" clay creations to the school community and parents will also be part of your role. You will introduce students to the cultural and historical relevance of clay art, shedding light on various styles, traditions, and artists worldwide. Collaboration with fellow teachers and staff to integrate clay art into interdisciplinary learning experiences and school-wide projects will be essential. Monitoring student progress through observation and project evaluation, offering constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement, is also a key aspect of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field. Prior teaching experience in clay moulding or similar hands-on art instruction, preferably in an educational setting, is preferred. Proficiency in various clay techniques such as pinch, coil, slab, and sculpture modelling is required. Additionally, a sound understanding of art education principles, child development, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills are essential.
