Job Responsibilities : (i) Design: - 2D Hand sketch drawing of Sheet Metal job work. (shearing and bending) -Prepare 2D Floor plan dwgs in AutoCAD and 3D parts dwgs and assembly in solid works for customer presentation and approval. - Prepare BOM, BOQ and project cost estimation in MS - Excel. - Raw materials ordering, follow-ups and other purchase related works. (ii) Production: - issue final project dwg and list out production task to in-house production team, sheet metal cutting and bending job work dwg to vendor. - Close follow up with vendor and In-house Production to avoid any production losses due to material shortage and to maintain delivery commitment. Skill set: 1) Should be a Proactive thinker with good presence of mind and excellent team management skills. 2) Min 3 years of experience in : (i) 2D Hand sketch dwg (ii) MS-Excel (iii) Autocadd 2D and Solid-works 3D Part modelling, Assembling and drafting. Job Description Job Title: Stress Engineer Department: Stress Engineering Job Location : Pune Summary: This position is responsible for supporting Lead Engineers and/or senior level Engineers in the structural substantiation of the mechanical / payloads / systems and structures design within the Jamco Technical Services Engineering departments utilizing established modeling and analysis standards (such as Bruhn, Niu, BDM, JA Stress Manuals, etc.). The Stress Engineer will support design and structural substantiation of aircraft engineering packages based on customer and OEM requirements for production, retrofit applications and product development. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job may have supervisory responsibilities when acting in the role of Lead Engineer and as delegated by the Functional Manager. Role & Responsibilities: Analyzing the stresses, strains, and deformations in Landing Gear and its components under various loading conditions. Utilizing Hand Calculation (SOM) approach for analyzing static and Fatigue stresses Analyzing data, reporting findings in technical reports, and recommending design improvements Identifying potential failure modes and recommending design improvements to minimize risk and optimize reliability Working with design, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Required Skill: Hand calculation knowledge through classical approach using strength of materials and free body concepts Able to understand the Technical requirements and have basic understanding on loads and their behavior Should be well-versed with Classical analysis approaches, Should be able to review and validate the results for Metallic parts Should have Strong knowledge and experience in Classical approach Static and Fatigue calculations (advantage with Aerospace Industry) Hands-on Experience on Aircraft Landing Gear components is preferable
