As a SAP BASIS (Senior) consultant, you should have at least 3-6 years of experience in handling ECC/CRM/SRM/BW/S4HANA/EP/PI, Oracle/SQL/Sybase/DB2, AIX/HP-UX/Linux & Windows. You should possess sound knowledge of R/3 Basis and Netweaver ABAP Stack, with exposure to Java stack/BI/XI being desirable. Experience in SAP Solution Manager with basic and advanced configuration is essential. Your responsibilities will include managing SAP administration on UNIX & Windows, system copy, ABAP+Java dual stack, add-on and Support Pack application, kernel upgrade, client copies, TMS administration, and SAP system monitoring. You will be involved in SAP parameter changes, role-based authorization, spool administration, OSS Note application, and SAP database administration. Additionally, experience in Enterprise Portal Administration, Trex Administration, working with SAP on public and private clouds, and cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred. You must be able to work on shifts. You will also be expected to support incident resolution, deliver application development or enhancement work, follow ITIL methodologies for application management services, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and leadership experience in guiding SAP Basis teams are highly valued. Ideally, you will be well-versed in SAP Cloud Basis and hold certifications in SAP Cloud or SAP Basis. Your day-to-day tasks will involve providing Application Management support for SAP Applications, collaborating with stakeholders, developing and maintaining documentation, handling change requests, and ensuring the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
