Title: L1- IT Support Engineer Client: Genpact Experience: 1-3 Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days Roles and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Incident & Service Request (SR) Management: Efficient handling of incidents and SRs through the CRM tool ( ServiceNow ), ensuring timely resolution and SLA compliance. End User Experience Management: Provide professional "meet and greet" support to end users with prompt resolution of IT issues and requests, enhancing overall satisfaction. Executive Support & Experience Management: Deliver high-quality, priority IT support to senior executives with professionalism and efficiency, leaving a lasting positive impression of IT services. Onboarding Support: Ensure a "WOW" experience for new hires through Day 1 IT asset issuance and workstation readiness, promoting a smooth onboarding process. Endpoint Readiness: Prepare IT assets through imaging, media sanitization (using tools like KillDisk , Blancco , etc.), quality checks, and labeling. IMAC Support (Install, Move, Add, Change): Provide end-to-end support for laptops, Chromebooks, MacBooks, desktops, and peripherals including printers and scanners. Endpoint Support (Remote & Deskside): Deliver first-level hardware, operating system, and application support for all endpoint devices (Windows & Mac OS environments). Endpoint Redeployment: Perform part/unit replacements, reimaging, media sanitization, and quality checks for redeployed IT assets. Vendor/Partner Coordination: Liaise with OEMs and partners for warranty claims and escalations to ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime. Data Center (DC) & Telecom Support: Provide hands-and-feet support for incidents, service requests, changes, and new infrastructure projects within DC and telecom domains. Transition & Infra Project Support: Support new transitions and infrastructure deployments requiring on-site technical assistance. Scheduled IT Activities: Perform routine checks and maintenance of training rooms, video conferencing rooms, and data center hygiene. IT Asset Management Support: Manage the full IT asset lifecycle using HAM Pro , including receiving, stacking, recording, issuing, returns, redeployment, disposal/donation, and maintaining accurate asset states. Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, IT Asset Management . In this role you will be responsible to Manage IT Stores Operations at India level . Manage IT Asset lifecycle at Genpact . Strong exposure in IT Asset Life Cycle, IT Asset phases Description: HAM Pro Administration and database management. Responsible for management of team managing day to day IT Stores operations including: Backoffice Operations Management . Receiving of IT Assets and Accessories in Genpact. (Fresh Deliveries) Custodian of IT Assets and Accessories while in IT Stores- proper Racking and Stacking BAU /Day to Day Operations Management (Issue/Receive/Move IT Assets & Accessories including Dispatches and reverse Pickups) End User facing activities Ticket queue monitoring in ServiceNow. End User Email/Call Handling effectively Meet/Greet/Manage Walk in users. Asset issuance/Receive from the users and timely update in ServiceNow (HAM). Manage individual incidents and requests according to defined SLAs aim for 100% adherence to RITM & INC Best Practice guidelines. Ageing of tickets and SRs in IT Stores Queues. End User Escalations. Quality of Assets being handover over to End users. IT Asset issuance to New Joiners on Day 1. Aim for 100% customer satisfaction and client focus, create a performance culture throughout the team. IT Asset Readiness (Imaging etc.) in coordination with UFS team Faulty IT asset repairs in coordination with the UFS team. Service Now and HAM Pro working experience with exposure to Maintenance of all hardware asset details within Service Now Handling of queries relating to hardware asset details. Ensure assets are accounted for (including those assets that are unassigned) and components are accurately reflected in Service Now . Reporting and Analytics for better management of It Operations. Improvements and Enhancements in HAM Pro. Work Closely with: IT Functional leads (Networks, Servers, EUC, Others) for their respective IT Inventories. IT T rack SMEs for management of IT Inventory Catalogue. (New Item addition and Old Item Deletion . Customs team adhere to customs regulatory requirements related to IT Assets and Accessories. (Purchase, Movements and Disposal). Fixed Asset team for Capital Assets report outs in terms of Qty., their valuation. 100% Physical verifications activity . IT Capacity team/IT sourcing team to t rack deliveries. IT Projects /Logistics team during new site setup, Site Closure, Migrations for planning IT Asset Movements/Procurements etc. Oracle Inventory team for new site creation and other issues related to IT Inventory module working, enhancement etc. IT Compliance team to adhere to any compliance requirements related to IT Assets and Inventory. Support Capacity Management team in planning for fast moving IT Assets and Accessories to ensure end user requests are addressed timely . Optimum Utilization of IT Assets (Proactive IUT planning to address operational requirement) Regular Reviews with team to take stock of availability and proactive planning to avoid aging of tickets. Productivity drives to recover un-used assets from floor through Floor Walks/Tracking Ramp Downs. Moving Un-utilized inventory > 90 Days to common stock. Front end Internal, customer and external audits queries related to Inventory and Assets management. Manage tower requests for Movements (IUT%27s) Receive/analyze/Plan/Follow up%27s/Execute. Timely disposal of End of Life Asserts as per the e-waste policy guidelines. Manage Donation Requests. IT Asset Inventory Report Outs. (Desktops/Laptops/Printers) (Server Equipment) (Network Equipment) regularly IT Inventory Dashboards (Monthly)-Tower wise/Ageing/Value/Un-utilized assets. Knowledge Management for ITAM Track- SOP preparation/reviews/updating related to all above areas. Support and guide Hardware Asset Team Manager in all aspects of service delivery. Qualification and Experience Graduate with relevant Years of Experience in IT Inventory and Asset Management. ITIL Certification would be an added advantage. Should have worked in large organizations in similar roles. Knowledge of working on Tools like Oracle Purchasing, Service Now, HAM Pro, Workday Well versed with STPI and SEZ Site Procedures. Good Communication Skills and service attitude. Strong Documentation. (E-Mails, MS Office) for leadership reporting. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
