Estimation Engineer (Fenestration - Door & Windows) guwahati 4 - 9 years INR 2.5 - 4.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role & responsibilities -Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and customer requirements to determine the scope of work. -Analyze and quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for each fenestration project. -Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals based on the project scope and specifications. -Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for fenestration materials. -Maintain a comprehensive database of fenestration products, pricing, and specifications. -Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and pricing changes to ensure accurate cost estimation. -Work closely with project managers and sales teams to review estimates and provide support during the bidding process. -Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution. -Identify and communicate potential risks or challenges in fenestration projects that may impact cost or timeline. -Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, clarifying project details, and resolving any issues that arise during the estimation process. -Continuously improve estimating processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. -Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Preferred candidate profile -Experience as a Fenestration Estimator or similar role in the construction industry. -Logical Architecture Experience -Strong knowledge of fenestration systems, including windows, doors, and related components. -Familiarity with architectural drawings, project specifications, and construction documents. -Proficient in using estimating software and tools to prepare accurate cost estimates. -Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, vendors, and customers. -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. -Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). -Professional certifications in estimating, CAD or fenestration-related fields (desired). -Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
