We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience to coordinate and implement features for both the Android Automotive OS platform and Customer-facing features of our connected, embedded Infotainment System. Your role will involve collaborating within an agile cross-functional team environment, demonstrating strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor less experienced team members and possess expertise in the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build systems. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/ M.Tech in Computer Science or MCA, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. The position requires solid working experience with software life-cycle methodologies and a deep understanding of different Android components such as Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, among others. Proficiency in modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK is essential. Moreover, a good understanding of Android Automotive System and Car Service Framework is highly desirable. This is a contract position for a period of 6 months to 1 year, based in Bangalore/Chennai.
