You are invited to join a manufacturing company in the UK as a CNC Operator/Programmer. Your responsibilities will include operating CNC Milling Machines, ensuring they adhere to production schedules and work at maximum capacity. Set up 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines according to engineering processes, ensuring correct clamping of component parts to prevent machining issues. Verify components are machined as per drawings and within specified tolerances. Conduct Quality Checks as per job packages and maintain adherence to housekeeping and Health & Safety standards, along with AS 9100 & ISO 9001 and SC21 standards. Your essential skills will involve experience in setting vices, jigs, and fixtures based on set-up requirements, operating 3-axis CNC Milling machines, and using quality inspection equipment following standard procedures. Desirable skills include 2-3 years of experience in operating 3/5 axis Milling centers, setting 3/5-axis milling centers (HAAS/DMG), knowledge of efficient machining processes and tooling, excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and work with minimal supervision.
